Today marks a new chapter in my career.
After almost a year working in the two-person DC Bureau of Digital First Media, where I wrote about national politics for our company’s 75 newspapers, I will be joining the award-winning Las Vegas Sun as the paper’s Washington correspondent.
Project Thunderdome, as the centralized news team at Digital First Media was known, was shut down before it had the chance to grow into a model of journalism for the digital age. But I’m excited to carry those digital skills to the Sun, where I’ll be working with a forward-thinking team determined to make news work again.
From a profile on Nevada’s junior senator to covering the power shift in the U.S. Senate, read some of my best clips so far.
